Be My Boat: the concept explained
One simple idea : synchronizing yachts charter plannings all over the world and broadcast it via our website in order to let users check yachts realtime availability. It allows users to book it as they could do for a rental car, a train ticket, a plane ticket or a hotel roomnight.
The origins of Be My BoatDuring summer 2009, Mathieu Bernard realized that it was impossible to book 100% online a charter. Every agent has to ask the local renters is the yacht is available and if the informations are updated. Eureka, we have to offer this service fully online. |

Mathieu Bernard (33 years old)
after 3 years working at KPMG as a bank auditor and 2 years working at PwC Transaction Services auditing acquisitions, Mathieu founded Be My Boat. The taste for entrepreneurship may come from his experience inside Nancy ICN's Junior company. He skipped his first sailboat at 8 years old and took sailing courses at the Glénans Sailing School at 14 years old in order to cruise from Saint Tropez to Corsica in july 1994. The willing for adventure may also come from the 3 biking trips (Mongolia-China, Ouzbekistan- Kazakhstan, Jordania). In his spare time, he plays music to makes his neighbours happy. |

Eric Puzenat (35 years old) After 10 years working inside PGA Motors group - 2 years for internal audit and 8 years as the director of various car dealing shops - Eric decided to step in and become a partner of Be My Boat. He brought his really supportive family with him to Nantes ! His business experience improved Be My Boat turnover. His love for negociation comes from his childhood when he used to sell his father's tennis rackets to his classmates. With a competition-oriented mind, he loves to overtake his own limits and play squash or poker with friends. Calm and quiet, the alchimia between the two skippers is perfect. |

Yoann Grange (27 years old) joined Be My Boat after 6 years working in web and communciation including 3 years in Spain as SEO for Barceló Hotels & Resorts. Back in Nantes, he spent 2 ans at KelCom, 360 communication agency and 6 months at Human Connect. These experiences complete a degree in foreign languages specialized in web content creation, management and localization. It makes Yoann a plurilingual swiss knife. He works since march 2011 at Be My Boat as content manager and is in charge of the contents, SEO and Be My Boat online community. |
